We can never forget what happened at Pearl Harbor on this day in 1941.
No one is so powerful to think they are somehow immune to tragedy. It is important that we remember all those lives lost on that day, and the mistakes made leading up to this day and beyond. We grow as a society when we remember the past and can learn from it. Those that refuse to remember, or don’t want to learn about the history are doomed to repeat the mistakes. We choose to honor all of those who lost their lives this day, for those left behind, and those hurt out of fear as a result of the actions of this day.
We must be open to remembering Pearl Harbor and the lessons learned.
